A Poem About Receiving a Cool Idea Out of Nowhere

Tomorrow I begin my master’s program in English at Southern New Hampshire University. snhu1 snhu2 I will be talking about my experiences over the next couple of years, as well as continuing to write poetry.

Here’s one about inspiration, which I believe comes from Divine Intelligence, which resides within us all. It tends to be scared away by noise, fear, doubt, worry, and preoccupation with money.  Inspiration must be wooed and welcomed and received:

Inspiration

Perfumed sky-matter

To unpopulated brains

Associated solely

With

The audacity

Of

Stillness.
